China: the two month adventure

"I'm leaving on a plane 10 days from now".  I have everything in order.  I just recieved my Visa and I am reading up on how to say various phrases and ask questions in Chinese like for example "Where is the nearest bathroom?  Can I get your number?  Do you have a myspace? Is it hot in here or is it just you? Police!  Hi, how are you? etc . I'm joking about a few of those or am I.   Anyways, I am still preparing for the culture shock which I can never fully prepare.  I am ready though.   I have been talking with people who have been there in the past and ready up on some history etc.   This will be the first time I have ever been overseas.  I am very exuberant and excited about going.   I have thought a lot about what I will be leaving behind for two months(friends, my new apartment, pets lol,  English being the dominant language).  However, I am looking forward to be immersed in the culture and just having a great time.    I'm also excited that I can buy abercrombie and finch  and other main brand  name shirts and shorts for around $45 less than in the U.S .  I am not going to China to go shopping.  It's an added bonus.  I'll post again soon.
